RP students should study ‘campaigning’

The Kabataan Party today proposed for the inclusion of campaigning on the school curriculum to further encourage young Filipinos to become active citizens and engage in communities and politics.

Hold voters registration in schools, COMELEC urged

The Kabataan Party today urged the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to study the possibility of establishing special voters registration centers in major schools in the country to make it more accessible to students.

“Bringing voters registration in schools will not only make things more convenient for students but it will also encourage them to exercise their right to suffrage,” Kabataan Party president Raymond Palatino said. (more…)

Youth Parliament (NYP) for rejecting a pro-Charter Change (Cha-Cha)
resolution during its plenary, saying the thrashing of the proposed
resolution reaffirms the youth’s opposition to Constitutional
