Government has always urged us young people to participate in the entire political process yet after all these years they've not even accommodated the pressing issues of our sector. Bureaucratic old men who traditionally aspire for congress reduce our issues as catchy rhetoric lines for their election campaigns but once in office it's no longer in their political agenda. Also being young and naive undeniably many are apolitical to varying degrees when it faced to the complex workings of our government (if it even does work)i think it's the most no-brainer decision for young pin@ys for them to support Kabataan! This is the 'Us' this time. It takes a lot of nerve for a politicized group of young people to walk the talk of Rizal's words "ang kabataan ang pagasa ng bayan" and yes it's about time that we gotta do it. I definitely commend these youth organizations that can get things moving for us.
